Outpatient Services

In the Neurobehavioral Medicine Outpatient Services program, a licensed addiction counselor offers Minors In Possession (MIP) classes for 18-20 year olds (first and multiple offences) and for 15-17 year olds (first offense only). These classes fulfill court requirements for MIP of alcohol citations. Call 406-327-3015 for more information.

The Structured Outpatient Program (SOP) is an intensive behavioral outpatient program for older adults. The program targets older individuals dealing with grief, worry, fear, irritability, withdrawal, sleep disturbance or physical decline. We understand the unique challenges older adults face in this phase of life; relocation, loss of primary supports, changes in living environment, coping with deteriorating health, loss of spouse, family and friends.

Treatment is supervised by our Medical Director, and a team of licensed mental health professionals. Patients must be evaluated prior to admission to the program and, if the SOP treatment team feels this level of care is appropriate and medically necessary; individuals would then be admitted by the medical director. The psychotherapy groups are conducted by the program social worker. Individual and family treatment may be provided in conjunction with group treatment as ordered by our medical director.

The program is available Monday through Friday, 9 A.M. to 11:15 A.M. and consists of participating in two consecutive psychotherapy groups from two to five times a week depending on treatment needs of the patient. Treatment is individualized to the needs of the patient and the course of treatment may last six to eight weeks.

Patients can be referred by their families, physicians, healthcare providers, guardians or significant others. We accept Medicare and other select insurance companies.
